Mid-Level Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve backend solutions utilizing Python.

• Develop and manage web applications leveraging Flask and Jinja2.

• Execute integrations with SQL Server.

• Enhance database queries, views, and indexes for optimal performance.

• Maintain code quality, ensure maintainability, and promote continuous improvement.

• Facilitate technical advancements and the progression of the solution architecture.

• Create a Python solution to fulfill the needs of the Legal and Human Resources departments for data querying and sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development.

• Strong command of Python programming.

• Proven experience in developing web applications and APIs, along with integration with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Familiarity with Flask and Jinja2 frameworks.

• Understanding of SQLAlchemy and PyODBC.

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 5, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of Git and adherence to software development best practices.

• Demonstrated independence in implementing and supporting solutions.

• Capability to operate within complex corporate settings and contribute to the team’s technical choices.

• Preferred qualifications: experience with architectural design, understanding of application security, experience in process automation, and familiarity with GCP environments.
