Mid-Level Back-End Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create software by coding applications, programs, and systems in accordance with project specifications and requirements.

• Conduct software testing, identify and resolve issues, bugs, and code defects.

• Ensure the quality of delivery, adhere to deadlines, and maintain client satisfaction.

• Document the developed code to facilitate future maintenance and updates.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team in delivering solutions.

• Design efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Research and implement new technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.

• Monitor and track production systems, identifying problems and executing solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification in a Programming Language (preferred).

• Certification in Cloud technologies (preferred).

• Understanding of artificial intelligence applied to development, including tools like Devin, Cursor, or Gemini.

• Experience with AI API integration.

• Familiarity with Large Language Model (LLM) concepts.

• Knowledge of best practices for incorporating AI in backend applications.

• Degree in Technology or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in Java versions 8, 11, and 21.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot.

• Understanding of microservices and RESTful APIs.

• Experience with SQL Server and Sybase.

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with Kafka, Pub/Sub, or RabbitMQ.

• Experience working in teams utilizing agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, or Kanban).

• Excellent communication skills—fast, clear, and assertive—capable of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Knowledge of creating and monitoring batch processing, preferably using Spring Batch.

• Experience with system integration patterns.
