Mid-Level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide legal services to the firm's clients across various legal matters

• Review documents and create legal pleadings

• Assist in negotiation processes

• Formulate strategies to enhance the chances of success in cases while reducing risks

• Ensure adherence to relevant laws and legal regulations

• Serve as a negotiator and expert in conflict resolution

• Manage different phases of legal proceedings, including contract analysis, drafting, and client representation in judicial and administrative contexts

• Execute, organize, and supervise legal advisory functions

• Confirm that commercial transactions, contractual agreements, and privacy practices are in line with applicable laws and regulations

• Oversee and track portfolios of judicial and administrative cases in collaboration with clients

• Lead the review and preparation of legal pleadings and documents

• Generate litigation and contingency reports utilizing the firm’s proprietary system

• Draft and implement legal instruments of varying complexity

• Evaluate risks, perform legal assessments, and suggest legal alternatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law

• Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)

• Postgraduate qualifications in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law are viewed as advantageous

• Specialization in Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department

• Advanced understanding of Civil Law and Civil Procedure

• Experience in drafting legal pleadings and reviewing contracts

• Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities

• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills

• Knowledge of civil and procedural law

• Proficient in legal research

• Familiarity with legal writing and drafting pleadings

• Skills in managing cases and meeting deadlines

• Proficient negotiation skills
