This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with clients to collect, assess, and document both business and functional requirements.
• Convert business requirements into tailored solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
• Set up and implement features for project planning, resource management and scheduling, budgeting and forecasting, time and expense tracking, project costing, billing, and financial oversight of projects.
• Facilitate client discovery sessions and workshops.
• Comprehend existing processes, pinpoint business needs, and propose solutions and best practices.
• Assist clients in navigating process design and configuration choices.
• Work in tandem with technical consultants, developers, and solution architects on integrations with enterprise applications.
• Create functional specifications, business process documentation, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Oversee functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validation of solutions.
• Identify and resolve functional issues throughout the implementation and deployment phases.
• Provide training for end-users and support client adoption processes.
• Offer functional assistance during implementation, go-live, and stabilization phases post-go-live.
• Collaborate with project managers and delivery team members to enhance project execution and client outcomes.
• Equivalent professional experience may be accepted in place of a formal degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant or in a comparable client-facing consulting position.
• Practical experience in implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
• In-depth knowledge of project-based business processes, such as project planning, resource management and scheduling, budgeting and forecasting, time and expense management, project costing, billing, and project financial tracking.
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and converting them into functional solutions.
• Experience in leading or assisting with client discovery sessions, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, training, and go-live tasks.
• Familiarity with integrations between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations and other enterprise applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the government contracting (GovCon) sector.
• Demonstrated experience in leading or executing full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations implementations.
• Background in implementing Professional Services Automation (PSA) solutions or other project-based services solutions.
• Exposure to other Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, Microsoft Power Platform, or related Microsoft technologies.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.
• Prior consulting experience with a Microsoft Partner or professional services firm.
• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and reside in the United States due to federal security clearance requirements.
