Metering Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform meter readings

• Resolve customer billing inquiries

• Communicate with customers and assist them with technical issues

• Evaluate and discuss the work completed by contract partners

• Question the quality and effectiveness of work when necessary

• Oversee jobs until they are completed

• Share insights and learnings with the team

• Address customer escalations and complaints

• Primarily work on-site in outdoor community settings

• Follow a set schedule with weekday shifts: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 to 16:00; Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 to 15:45

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Full UK Driving License is essential

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing abilities

• Capability to think critically for effective planning, prioritization, and problem resolution

• Experience working in a high-pressure, target-driven environment as part of a remote team

• Confidence to assess and discuss the work done by contract partners, challenging quality and effectiveness as needed

• Ability to manage tasks through to completion

• Willingness to share insights and learnings with colleagues

• Skills to handle customer escalations and complaints effectively

• Proactive mindset and readiness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

• Ability to engage confidently with customers and guide them through technical challenges
