This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Identify and oversee a pipeline of opportunities with businesses generating less than $2.5M in revenue.
• Implement focused merchant sales strategies and carry out successful campaigns.
• Provide reports on activities and progress towards set objectives.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and banking partners.
• Generate business through self-initiated prospecting and collaborations with Business Banking Specialists and Branch colleagues.
• Direct sales efforts towards the small business sector.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of pertinent sales experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
• Strong sales skills and proficiency in pipeline management.
• In-depth knowledge of payment processing and merchant services.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and POS systems.
• Exceptional communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities.
• Proven history of success, motivation, and integrity.
• Candidates must adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, as well as related workplace conduct and safety guidelines.
• Must comply with relevant regulatory requirements, which may encompass FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, the NFA, the FCPA, the Bank Secrecy Act, the SAFE Act, and/or federal guidelines.
