This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.
• Aid in the planning of construction procedures by analyzing specifications, start and completion timelines, and staffing requirements.
• Support the MEP Project Manager in identifying and assessing subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Create scopes of work for review and approval.
• Assist with scheduling MEP projects, preparing estimates, cost-to-complete reports, monthly invoicing, and status updates.
• Request pricing from subcontractors and vendors, and aid in the selection of bidders and final-price negotiations.
• Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, modifications, and change orders for assessment.
• Review and coordinate current field drawings, including P&IDs, mechanical, electrical, shop, architectural, and structural plans.
• Oversee and manage on-site construction activities from pre-startup to project completion.
• Schedule subcontractor tasks and identify necessary materials, equipment, and tools.
• Secure supply sources and acquire tools and materials for timely delivery.
• Establish and close out construction sites.
• Act as the on-site Safety Officer in the absence of an assigned individual and engage in the company's safety component of the QMS program.
• Guide supervisory personnel and subcontractors in planning and executing work procedures while coordinating construction phases.
• Address workforce complaints and grievances in collaboration with supervisory staff.
• Prepare or evaluate progress, materials, and cost reports, and make necessary schedule adjustments.
• Set and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Execute, maintain, and generate reports for Gray’s QMS program and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate, implement, and enforce Gray’s safety program on-site.
• Oversee multiple subordinate team members, including training, work direction, discipline, complaints, and problem-solving.
• Carry out additional assigned duties and work overtime as required.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, with at least five years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 3 years of industrial construction experience, with a strong preference for data center or mission-critical backgrounds.
• Capability to manage all responsibilities for multiple, intricate data center projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, encompassing power distribution, critical cooling infrastructure, commissioning processes, and equipment installation.
• Familiarity with construction scheduling and cost management.
• Proficient in leading large field teams effectively.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar construction technology is an advantage.
• Basic computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications.
• Ability to travel to project sites across the United States, and in some instances, internationally.
• The selected candidate may reside anywhere in the USA.

• Must meet physical demands, including frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
• Capacity to work in various outdoor, construction, mechanical, electrical, weather, noise, and elevated-risk environments.
• Ability to supervise multiple subordinate team members and indirectly manage subcontractors, consultants, and general laborers.
