Mental Health Therapist – Part-Time, W2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Provide remote, evidence-informed therapy to adult clients aged 18 and older

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT, TLDP, IPT, EFT, and MI

• Manage a caseload of 7 to 20 ongoing therapy sessions each week

• Leverage data to inform effective treatment and modify strategies based on client progress

• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals as necessary

• Make referrals for clients when appropriate

• Keep progress notes and documentation in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations

• Conduct ongoing therapy sessions and assessments for new clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a valid license in Kentucky as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)

• Eager and willing to obtain licensure in other states; licensing expenses will be covered

• Available to work 8 to 24 hours per week, with 85% of time dedicated to client sessions

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with adults (18 and older)

• At least six months of experience in teletherapy

• Proficient in conducting clinical assessments such as the PHQ-9

• Familiar with electronic health record (EHR) systems

• Able to schedule 7 to 10 session hours between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday

• Available for at least 1 hour per week during regular business hours for training in the first 6 weeks, followed by 30 minutes per month for ongoing support

• Complete, sign, and secure documentation in the EMR within 48 hours of client contact
