Mental Health Therapist – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide remote, evidence-informed therapy to adult clients aged 18 and older.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT, TLDP, IPT, EFT, and MI.

• Manage a caseload of 7–20 ongoing therapy sessions weekly.

• Leverage data to inform treatment and modify strategies based on client development.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals when necessary.

• Refer clients as appropriate.

• Document progress notes and maintain records in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations.

• Conduct assessments and ongoing therapy sessions for new clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed in New York as an LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).

• Eager and motivated to obtain licensure in additional states.

• Available for 8–24 hours per week, dedicating 85% of that time to client sessions.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with adults (18+).

• At least six months of experience in teletherapy.

• Skilled in clinical assessments, including PHQ-9.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Must be available for 7–10 session hours between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.

• Required to be available for at least 1 hour per week during regular business hours for training in the first 6 weeks, followed by 30 minutes per month for ongoing support.

• Complete, sign, and secure documentation in the EMR within 48 hours of client interaction.
