Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual remote counseling and psychotherapy services.

• Perform thorough mental health evaluations.

• Gather and document patient medical information, including health history and findings from mental status examinations.

• Formulate and apply behavioral health treatment plans.

• Assess the outcomes of mental health evaluations.

• Offer evidence-based therapeutic support to clients.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via a telehealth platform.

• Emphasize patient care and accurate documentation.

• Execute monthly chart reviews as part of the peer review QA process, as assigned.

• Work in collaboration with the Behavioral Health Supervisor and the supportive clinical team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to practice independently without continuous clinical supervision.

• Stay current with continuing education and evidence-based psychosocial interventions.

• Proficiency with technology and familiarity with digital tools and platforms.

• Clinically licensed in the state of primary residence.

• Hold an active and unrestricted LCSW license in Oregon, or an active and unrestricted LPC/LMHC license in Oregon, or an active and unrestricted LMFT license in Oregon.

• Possess a Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program for LCSW candidates.

• Hold a Master's degree in Counseling from a CACREP-accredited program for LPC/LMHC candidates.

• Have a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a COAMFTE-accredited program for LMFT candidates.

• Accumulate 2+ years of unsupervised/post-licensure psychotherapy treatment experience for LCSW candidates.

• Have 3+ years of unsupervised, post-licensure experience for LPC/LMHC candidates.

• Obtain 3+ years of unsupervised, post-licensure experience for LMFT candidates.

• Licensure in multiple states is highly regarded.
