Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote mental health therapy to clients aged 13 and older.

• Provide psychosocial support and educational resources to individuals and couples/families.

• Utilize evidence-based assessment and treatment planning tools.

• Offer diagnostic services, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling.

• Implement evidence-based techniques including motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

• Ensure continuity of care for patients.

• Expand and develop the Minute Clinic practice.

• Work collaboratively with the clinical care team.

• Operate at the highest level of the applicable license.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a current, active, and unencumbered state license as an LCSW, LICSW, LPCC, LMHC, or LMFT.

• Required to obtain licenses to practice in multiple states based on business requirements.

• Strong diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling abilities.

• Familiarity with evidence-based methodologies such as motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

• Completion of a Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university.

• Must hold a license in California and/or Washington state.

• Proven excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• Experience in or willingness to adapt to virtual therapy delivery.

• Comprehensive understanding of the psychosocial dimensions of illness and health.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and various platforms.

• Knowledge of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing regulations.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities.

• Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital environment.
