Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Offer mental health support to clients aged 13 and older in Arizona and/or California

• Provide psychosocial assistance and educational resources to individuals, couples, and families

• Perform diagnostic evaluations and create treatment plans

• Administer short-term counseling utilizing evidence-based practices

• Collaborate on patient care to ensure continuity of treatment

• Conduct sessions virtually with the backing of the clinical care team

• Develop and expand the MinuteClinic mental health practice

• Employ assessment and treatment planning tools

• Engage with patients within their local communities

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unencumbered state license as an LCSW, LPC/LCPC, LCMHC, or LMFT

• Openness to obtaining licenses to practice in multiple states as per business needs

• Demonstrated skills in diagnostics, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling

• Proficiency in evidence-based approaches including motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy

• Completed a Master’s degree from an accredited institution

• Ability to support clients aged 13 and above

• Experience with or willingness to adapt to virtual therapy delivery methods

• Knowledge of psychosocial factors related to illness and health

• Comfort with electronic health record systems and various platforms

• Familiarity with insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing regulations

• Skills in crisis intervention

• Prior experience in a mental health clinic or hospital environment
