Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver full-time outpatient mental health services via Brave Health's telehealth platform.

• Provide individualized psychotherapy to patients of all ages, including adolescents aged 13–17.

• Assess and diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Formulate effective treatment plans.

• Utilize comprehensive assessments to inform treatment.

• Collaborate with clients to meet their treatment objectives.

• Conduct around 30 patient-facing hours weekly, generally seeing 6–8 patients daily.

• Complete clinical documentation in real-time during patient sessions.

• Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Maintain a consistent Monday–Friday work schedule during designated shifts.

• Potential to acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health grows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree and appropriate licensure.

• Licensed Therapist / LMFT credential required.

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A private, work-from-home environment that meets patient safety and HIPAA standards.

• Proficiency in English is required; Spanish fluency is preferred, with proficiency in additional languages being a bonus.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning are essential.

• Comfort with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to conduct thorough assessments.

• Current independent licensure is mandatory.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses when necessary.

• Experience in providing one-on-one psychotherapy in the past 12 months.

• Comfort in treating adolescents aged 13–17 as part of the regular caseload.

• Capability to fulfill approximately 30 patient-facing hours weekly, typically seeing 6–8 patients each day.

• Ability to complete clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions.
