Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – LMFT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient mental health services through Brave Health's telehealth platform.

• Provide therapy to a diverse range of patients, including adolescents aged 13–17.

• Diagnose and manage mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their objectives.

• Utilize telehealth applications, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Complete around 30 hours of patient interaction weekly, generally seeing 6–8 patients each day.

• Conduct clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions.

• Adhere to a fixed Monday–Friday work schedule during one of the assigned shifts: 9am–6pm, 10am–7pm, or 11am–8pm ET.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without future employer sponsorship.

• A private workspace at home to ensure patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish speakers preferred, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfort with telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Experience collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Current independent licensure in the relevant state.

• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses if necessary.

• Ability to provide individual psychotherapy and therapy for adolescents aged 13–17.

• Commitment to a fixed Monday–Friday work schedule.

• Approximately 30 patient-facing hours each week, typically seeing 6–8 patients daily.

• Ability to complete clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions.
