Mental Health Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate mental health disability claims and maintain documentation in the case management system.

• Suggest community resources for mental health to enhance recovery for Plan Members.

• Assist case managers in overseeing mental health disability claims.

• Provide individualized coaching to case managers regarding mental health disability claims.

• Act as the primary resource for internal Disability Claims teams on mental health matters.

• Design and conduct training sessions for internal teams concerning mental health topics and updated case management protocols.

• Aid in the continuous development of strategies for managing mental health disability claims.

• Engage in thought leadership and collaborate with Plan Sponsors.

• Communicate with treatment providers as necessary.

• Participate in working groups to create strategic initiatives.

• Develop and implement innovative approaches to mental health case management with internal teams.

• Stay updated on mental health, disability management, and insurance practices.

• Master’s degree in health sciences or a related field.

• Experience in the clinical domain of Mental Health.
