Member Service Representative I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage with and assist Health Plan members to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.

• Provide accurate and prompt information while adhering to compliance standards.

• Foster relationships with members, contracted brokers, teams, and departments.

• Address current member needs for the assigned line of business through telephone, written communication, and face-to-face interactions, in accordance with service standards and regulatory obligations.

• Facilitate resolution of inquiries in collaboration with other departments at Martin's Point.

• Offer information regarding benefits, claims, and coverage to members.

• Execute administrative tasks related to Member Services.

• Ensure precise information and documentation are maintained in systems and databases.

• Participate in initiatives aimed at improving Member Service processes and contribute to designated projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.

• Applicants must reside in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Upstate New York.

• Candidates must be available to commence work on October 19, 2026.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Capable of quickly learning and adapting to new applications.

• Familiarity with telephonic systems, call recording, and tracking systems.

• Exceptional telephone and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks while maintaining focus on departmental goals.

• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the Member Services team and various departments across the organization.
