This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Serve as an advocate for Members and act as a liaison between the Health Plan and Providers to ensure access and availability of care.
• Build a presence within the community.
• Encourage education for Members.
• Identify and address systemic barriers that hinder Members' access to appropriate care.
• Receive and address Member complaints and formal grievances.
• Recognize potential access obstacles and resolve them in accordance with the grievance procedure.
• Investigate and address access and cultural sensitivity concerns raised by Member Services staff, State personnel, providers, advocacy groups, and recipients.
• Engage with local community organizations to gain insights into the unique healthcare needs of Members.
• Update and modify educational resources as necessary.
• Act as the primary contact for Member advocacy groups, human services agencies, and State entities.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship, both now and in the future.
• Must reside in the state of Florida.
• Must be available to work from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of customer service experience within a healthcare setting.
• Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid is preferred.
• Must maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
