Member Account Executive – 12 Month Contract

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Develop and implement a systematic field call cycle for designated I.D.A., Guardian, Remedy’sRx, and Enterprise pharmacy locations.

β€’ Serve as a strategic business partner to pharmacy owners and operators, enhancing Member satisfaction, loyalty, and growth.

β€’ Identify business risks and service challenges, and execute strategies for mitigation.

β€’ Analyze pharmacy performance metrics, prepare business reviews, and provide actionable insights.

β€’ Monitor and influence KPIs to ensure operational excellence aligned with McKesson and Member objectives.

β€’ Offer operational support in areas such as marketing, advertising, pharmacy operations, formulary compliance, product distribution, POS systems, and the adoption of pharmacy technology.

β€’ Counsel Members on strategies aimed at boosting sales and profitability, including Own Brand initiatives and essential programs.

β€’ Track and enhance pharmacy purchasing behavior to maximize rebate and incentive opportunities.

β€’ Lead discussions regarding Banner Agreement renewals and assist in negotiation and execution.

β€’ Act as the main point of contact between Members and internal McKesson teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.

β€’ Generate qualified leads for business development, technology adoption, and pharmacy expansion.

β€’ Support merchandising plans and ensure store readiness for new pharmacy openings, renovations, and relocations, including managing opening orders and promotional execution.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A university degree is preferred; equivalent experience in retail pharmacy management will be considered.

β€’ Proven track record of building enduring relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners.

β€’ Strong organizational capabilities with a keen attention to detail.

β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

β€’ Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively.

β€’ Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

β€’ Experience in a fast-paced environment where prioritization skills are crucial.

β€’ Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

β€’ Knowledge of retail pharmacy operations is advantageous.

β€’ Willingness to travel up to 60% (4 days per week) to Windsor, London, Sarnia, and Kitchener/Waterloo, with limited overnight travel required.
