This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Optimize business potential for approved Parkinson’s Disease products currently on the market.
• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, Advanced Practice Providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, managers, and support staff.
• Enhance understanding of product advantages and risks, as well as awareness of therapeutic gaps, in alignment with approved labels.
• Generate new business opportunities, expand existing operations, maximize resource utilization, and boost sales to meet the assigned product portfolio sales objectives.
• Cultivate and sustain compliant relationships with advocacy and support organizations focused on Parkinson’s.
• Provide on-label technical and scientific presentations and conduct sales calls utilizing approved data and resources.
• Comprehend and address customer requirements while fostering account relationships that benefit both patients and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with AbbVie field and internal teams to identify, design, or modify strategies and tactics.
• Act as the primary US Commercial contact for designated accounts within the assigned region.
• Develop, execute, and communicate strategic and tactical plans for targeted accounts.
• Track and report sales performance while ensuring routine communication with stakeholders.
• Attend and engage in neurology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events.
• Represent AbbVie and its products at events to foster relationships and deliver product education.
• Relay essential information and insights to internal stakeholders.
• Formulate territory account plans, align resources, and modify tactics based on account and geographic dynamics.
• Stay updated on clinical, market, and payer developments concerning Parkinson’s Disease.
• Complete necessary training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• A Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred; relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Health Science Field or Sales, with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Alternatively, 8+ years of experience in Health Science Sales, with a minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical sales may substitute for a degree.
• Proven ability to network and collaborate effectively across different functional areas.
• Strong organizational/project management and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple stakeholders within complex environments.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.
• Background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses may be required.
• Must possess a valid ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
