This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Optimize business opportunities with approved Parkinson's disease products that are currently on the market.
β’ Cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, advanced practice providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, managers, and support personnel.
β’ Enhance education regarding product benefits and risks while raising awareness of therapeutic gaps in compliance with approved labels.
β’ Generate new business, expand existing business, optimize resource utilization, and boost sales to meet the designated product portfolio sales plan.
β’ Establish and nurture compliant relationships with Parkinson's advocacy organizations, support groups, and other patient-support networks.
β’ Conduct on-label technical and scientific presentations and sales calls utilizing approved data and resources.
β’ Comprehend and address customer needs while fostering account relationships that benefit both patients and healthcare professionals.
β’ Collaborate with AbbVie field and internal teams to design and refine strategies and tactics.
β’ Act as the primary US Commercial contact for targeted accounts within the assigned territory.
β’ Develop, execute, and communicate strategic and tactical plans for targeted accounts.
β’ Track and report sales progress while maintaining communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Attend and engage in neurology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events, which may occur during evenings and weekends.
β’ Represent AbbVie and assigned products at events to foster relationships and educate attendees about products.
β’ Relay key information, developments, and insights to internal stakeholders.
β’ Formulate and implement business strategies and territory account plans, align resources, and adjust tactics as necessary.
β’ Stay informed on clinical, market, payer, and Parkinson's Disease advancements and trends.
β’ Complete necessary AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
β’ Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience required.
β’ At least 3 years of experience in Health Science Field or Sales, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in pharmaceutical sales.
β’ Alternatively, 8+ years of experience in Health Science Sales with at least 4 years in pharmaceutical sales can be considered in place of a degree.
β’ Proven ability to effectively network and partner across various functional areas.
β’ Strong organizational/project management skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
β’ Established track record of managing multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
β’ Must meet relevant HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain these credentials.
β’ May be required to undergo background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licensing.
β’ Must have access to a personal vehicle or a company car or truck, or operate a powered piece of material handling equipment.
