MedTech Device Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Install hardware for automated medication dispensing systems in healthcare settings.

• Organize, test, and assemble automated medication dispensing systems.

• Install and configure hardware, software, and mechanical medical devices.

• Review schematics, drawings, documentation, and logistics to facilitate installation activities.

• Perform routine checks and document data from product tests post-installation and configuration.

• Ensure that work is completed in line with quality compliance standards.

• Collaborate with support staff, manage project timelines, and address customer requirements.

• Travel extensively within local, regional, and national areas.

• Work assignments typically range from 16 to 30 hours per week, plus travel time.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and spearhead technical initiatives in medical device technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful completion of Ylioppilastutkinto is required.

• Proficiency in both English and Finnish is necessary.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in electronics, hardware, software, or mechanical fields is required.

• Strong business acumen and effective communication skills are essential.

• Familiarity with basic software applications and Microsoft operating systems is required.

• Ability to collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and healthcare personnel to determine equipment layout, operations, and workflow requirements.

• Capability to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status, is necessary.

• Position may require up-to-date immunizations.

• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• An active and unrestricted driver’s license is mandatory.

• Personal vehicle is required, along with a willingness to use it for job-related duties.

• Must be able to travel locally, regionally, and nationally on a weekly basis to meet customer needs.

• Candidate should be located within 30 miles of a major airport.
