Medicare Field Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Provide education to individuals regarding Humana's Medicare Advantage plans, along with Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.

• Foster trust and offer tailored guidance to potential members.

• Establish personal connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits.

• Generate self-directed sales and achieve performance targets.

• Enhance Humana's market presence by cultivating relationships and becoming a respected community resource.

• Support local community members as part of a collaborative team comprising 8–12 Medicare Sales Field Agents.

• Operate under the mentorship of a Senior Manager and Regional Director.

• Attend appointments and events that may take place during evenings and weekends.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training sessions or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Health Insurance License is required or the ability to obtain one.

• Must reside within the designated local territory.

• Comfortable engaging in daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes, at community events, and in local settings.

• A valid state driver's license is necessary.

• Personal vehicle liability insurance must meet at least 25/25/10 coverage limits or higher, as dictated by state regulations.

• Flexibility to work various nights and weekends is essential.

• Mandatory attendance during the first five weeks of employment and training is required.

• An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.

• An active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License is preferred.

• A background in selling Medicare products is preferred.

• Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups is preferred.

• A background in supporting Value Based Care organizations is preferred.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and an additional language, with fluency in speaking, reading, and writing both languages, is preferred.

• Must take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test if communicating with a member in a language other than English.
