Medicare Field Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Establish trust and inform individuals about Humana's Medicare Advantage plans, as well as Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.

• Forge personal connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home consultations.

• Deliver customized service to potential members.

• Generate sales independently and achieve performance targets.

• Enhance Humana's market footprint by forming relationships and becoming a trusted local resource.

• Cover the assigned local territory through community engagement efforts in the field.

• Collaborate effectively with a team of 8–12 Medicare Sales Field Agents under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Health Insurance License is required or the ability to obtain one.

• Must live within the designated local territory.

• Comfortable engaging in daily face-to-face interactions at prospective members' homes, community events, and local settings.

• Possess a valid state driver's license.

• Have personal vehicle liability insurance that meets or exceeds the 25/25/10 coverage limits, or higher as required by state regulations.

• Willingness to accommodate appointments and events during evenings and weekends.

• Required attendance during the first five weeks for employment and training.

• Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License is preferred.

• Experience in selling Medicare products is preferred.

• Background in public speaking or presenting to groups is preferred.

• Experience supporting Value Based Care organizations is preferred.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred.

• An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and an additional language, with fluency in speaking, reading, and writing both is preferred.

• Ability to pass the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test when communicating with members in a language other than English.

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI / HIPAA information.

• Reliable home internet service with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.
