Medical Translator, Thai

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a member of Lilt’s Medical Talent Community as a Thai medical translator.

• Adapt and validate target text through regulatory review to ensure compliance with standards.

• Translate and review critical medical and regulatory content.

• Utilize Life Sciences knowledge for pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology materials.

• Operate within GxP environments while adhering to ISO 17100 quality standards.

• Precisely follow terminology and reference materials.

• Provide a portfolio or references showcasing experience in regulated medical markets.

• Confirm understanding of relevant local regulations.

• Complete a specialized translation or review assessment.

• Work independently on projects with varying demands and deliver completed tasks punctually.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently residing in the United States of America.

• Native-level fluency in the target language(s).

• Graduate degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR

• Graduate degree in a different field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR

• 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.

• Professional experience in translation and localization within Medical/Life Sciences domains.

• Proven experience translating for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biotechnology.

• Capability to work within strict GxP environments and comply with ISO 17100 quality standards.

• Ability to adhere closely to terminology and reference materials.

• Dependable availability and dedication to timely delivery.

• Most tasks require a minimum commitment of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.

• English-language resume/CV is required for application.

• Experience verification, compliance audit, and specialized assessment are necessary.

• Must comply with relevant geographic restrictions, including international embargoes and sanctions.
