InDesign Localization Specialist, Native Spanish Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate AI-translated courses and prepare localized files for final quality assurance and delivery.

• Assess translated content as a native Spanish speaker.

• Ensure terminology, instructions, labels, navigation text, and learner-facing content accurately reflect the original English source.

• Modify InDesign layouts to accommodate approximately 30% text expansion.

• Address issues related to text overflow, clipping, wrapping, spacing, font sizing, button and label fitting, and other localization-related visual concerns.

• Review finalized courses in context to verify that translated content is readable and properly displayed.

• Identify unclear source meanings or terminology instead of making unsupported assumptions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native Spanish speaker with strong proficiency in English.

• Experience with InDesign, including reviewing, editing, or validating translated or localized content.

• Capability to edit text, layouts, formatting, buttons, labels, and slide elements.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to compare translated content with English source material.

• Competence to work within existing course files without altering functionality or design unnecessarily.

• Previous experience in eLearning localization is preferred.

• Familiarity with accessibility considerations in digital learning is preferred.

• Experience in validating AI-generated translations is preferred.
