Chinese Mandarin Consecutive Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, conferences, interviews, and various other assignments.

• Attentively listen to speakers in the source language and accurately transmit messages in the target language.

• Enable effective communication between individuals speaking different languages.

• Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout the interpretation process.

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and comply with Reviver’s client-specific protocols, policies, and best practices in the industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience or 3,000 hours of active interpretation.

• Proficiency in at least two languages (both source and target languages).

• Demonstrated English language proficiency with a “technical proficiency” rating on the national ILR scale or its equivalent.

• Successful completion of the Mock Call assessment with a passing score.

• An updated resume that highlights relevant interpretation experience.

• A criminal background check completed in English.

• Necessary technical setup to support interpretation tasks, including a headset, stable internet, and a laptop.

• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and adherence to Reviver’s protocols, policies, and industry best practices.

• Familiarity with interpretation standards set by IMIA, CCHI, and NCIHC.
