Medical Translator, Romanian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a member of Lilt's Medical Talent Community as a Romanian medical translator.

• Modify and validate the target text to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Translate and localize materials for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and biotechnology.

• Handle patient records and clinical protocols.

• Adhere to standard operating procedures in GxP environments.

• Comply with ISO 17100 quality standards.

• Provide lists of projects or references showcasing previous work in regulated medical markets.

• Confirm your understanding of relevant local regulations.

• Complete a specialized translation or review test.

• Contribute to Lilt's AI and language technology initiatives.

• Operate independently based on personal availability and project needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s).

• Currently residing in the United States of America.

• A degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a degree in another field along with 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.

• Capability to follow terminology and reference materials accurately.

• Professional experience in translation and localization within the Medical/Life Sciences sectors.

• Demonstrated success specifically within the Life Sciences domain.

• Experience with patient records and clinical protocols.

• Ability to operate within strict GxP environments.

• Compliance with ISO 17100 quality standards.

• Dependable availability and dedication.

• Quality output and timely delivery upon task acceptance.

• Ability to undergo experience verification, compliance audits, and specialized assessments.

• An English-language Resume/C.V. is required.

• Must be able to operate as a 1099 independent contractor.

• Geographic restrictions may apply due to international embargoes or sanctions.
