Polish Sports Localization Specialist – Football

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Review, localize, verify facts, translate, and modify sports-related materials, primarily in football, adhering to established writing style guides and standards.

• Conduct research tailored to the market regarding local content, product and terminology trends, and localization practices for the intended audience.

• Offer constructive feedback on written materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience in the linguistic sector, sports journalism, copywriting, or copy-editing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of sports, particularly football.

• Proven experience in the translation and localization of multimedia content, ideally including machine translations and evaluations.

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese.

• Exceptional grammar and writing abilities in English.

• Strong skills in creative writing, proofreading, and editing in Japanese.

• Solid practical knowledge of computers and mobile devices, including word processors and spreadsheets.

• Must possess a licensed version of MS Office applications.
