This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Act as the subject matter expert regarding medical staff privileging for OHSU and HMC.
• Oversee the coordination, development, standardization, and ongoing enhancement of privileging processes.
• Collaborate with Medical Staff leadership, clinical departments, and administrative partners.
• Facilitate communication, problem-solving, and project coordination related to privileging initiatives.
• Prepare and present reports, analyses, and recommendations to Medical Staff committees and leadership.
• Design, develop, and update privilege delineation forms and their associated criteria.
• Conduct research and benchmarking to establish evidence-based privileging criteria.
• Coordinate the interdisciplinary review and approval of privilege forms.
• Execute audits and regular reviews of privilege documents.
• Maintain privileging content and evaluation data within Credential Stream.
• Coordinate the implementation and ongoing management of OPPE and FPPE.
• Develop specialty-specific OPPE/FPPE metrics in collaboration with Medical Staff leaders.
• Ensure timely collection, analysis, reporting, and follow-up for OPPE/FPPE activities.
• Monitor compliance with accreditation standards and promote continuous improvement of practitioner performance evaluation systems.
• Provide backup CUSA support, which includes standard and ad hoc reports, data extraction, validation, analysis, and workflow assistance.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, privacy, and compliance with security standards.
• Offer consultation, training, and education on privileging criteria, evaluation methodologies, and system workflows.
• Support staff competency development related to privileging and evaluation processes.
• A minimum of three years of experience in administering or coordinating aspects of a project or program.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, public administration, or a related field may substitute for two years of the required experience.
• Experience with CredentialStream is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical coding is preferred.
• CPCS or CPMSM certification is preferred.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday in the Pacific Standard Time zone.
• Willingness to attend meetings outside of standard business hours when necessary.
• Ability to engage in prolonged sitting and computer-based tasks in a remote office setting.
• Regular full-time position.
