Medical Science Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable scientific peer to Key Opinion Leaders, clinicians, and academic researchers.

• Convey intricate clinical data effectively.

• Assist in investigator-initiated research initiatives.

• Collect real-world medical insights to enhance the internal pipeline.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with KOLs.

• Supervise the preparation and presentation of clinical data for conferences and significant meetings.

• Offer medical and scientific support for Acera's existing products, new indications, and products under development.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clinical inquiries regarding Acera Surgical's marketed and pipeline products, clinical data, and trials.

• Represent the organization at sales meetings, conferences, and customer presentations.

• Gather and analyze real-world clinical insights, treatment trends, and unmet medical needs.

• Facilitate investigator-initiated trials and support clinical operations with trial enrollment and site selection.

• Provide internal training and expert advice to marketing, clinical development, and regulatory affairs teams.

• Comply with industry regulations, legal standards, and ethical guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution in Medicine, Biology, Wound Care, or a related life sciences field.

• Over 5 years of experience within the healthcare sector, scientific marketing, or clinical development.

• Proven experience in communicating scientific information in both oral and written formats.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment without the need for sponsorship for employment visa status.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
