Medical Science Liaison / Senior Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture relationships with medical and scientific key opinion leaders as well as other healthcare professionals.

• Cultivate and uphold expertise in scientific, clinical, and therapeutic areas within Neurology.

• Facilitate scientific discussions and provide education on disease states regarding current and upcoming epilepsy treatments and Neurelis’ pipeline.

• Gather actionable insights from the field and generate regular reports for MSL management and internal teams.

• Offer medical and scientific support, including presentations, to managed-care accounts and market-access entities.

• Represent Neurelis at local, regional, and national conferences and meetings.

• Deliver scientific, medical, and educational assistance to internal medical and cross-functional teams.

• Assist in the execution of clinical studies and investigator-initiated research as assigned.

• Lead or take part in special project teams.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, compliance standards, and applicable regulations.

• Engage in extensive daily travel, visiting physician offices and medical facilities, while transporting materials and samples weighing between 10 to 20 pounds.

• Manage multiple priorities effectively and communicate scientific data to diverse audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience demonstrating success in an MSL role.

• Corporate experience in the CNS therapeutic area, especially in epilepsy, is highly preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in conveying scientific and clinical information in a clear and credible manner.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with proven personnel management abilities.

• Advanced degree in science or clinical fields (Pharm D., Ph.D., M.D.).

• MSL level: A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sector.

• Sr MSL level: A minimum of 5 years' experience, including at least 2+ years as an MSL focused on field-based scientific exchange.

• Minimum of 2+ years of clinical or therapeutic area experience.

• Familiarity with region-specific healthcare systems and clinical practices related to patient care.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

• Overnight travel is required.
