Medical Science Liaison, Neuro

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the field-based medical authority for the specified region throughout pre-launch, launch, and early post-launch initiatives.

• Establish peer-to-peer connections with specialists in neuro-oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, and other related fields.

• Implement field activities that align with the strategic launch plan of the Medical Affairs department.

• Assist with the engagement, recruitment, and retention of clinical trial sites and subjects.

• Present on pipeline developments and clinical data findings.

• Provide payer-facing scientific presentations concerning the neuro-oncology portfolio, disease state, diagnostic landscape, and clinical value proposition.

• Aid in the creation and review of compliant scientific, medical, and payer presentations in collaboration with Medical Communications, Market Access, and cross-functional teams.

• Gather, document, synthesize, and relay actionable medical insights, research gaps, opportunities, and field intelligence.

• Monitor and communicate MSL performance metrics and field impacts.

• Enhance understanding among both internal and external stakeholders.

• Attend medical and scientific conferences, engage with KOLs, and summarize insights of strategic importance.

• Provide coverage at congresses, interpret emerging scientific and clinical data, and produce post-congress reports and presentations.

• Facilitate the submission of Medical Education grants and Investigator-Initiated Research.

• Support commercial, marketing, and clinical operations teams in relevant activities.

• Participate in advisory boards, publication planning, investigator meetings, and team forums.

• Lead priority projects assigned by Medical Affairs leadership.

• Conduct activities in compliance with Telix policies, regulations, and legal and ethical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an advanced scientific, healthcare, or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, RN) is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a neuro-oncology MSL.

• Experience with radiopharmaceutical neuro-oncology is required.

• Familiarity with neuro-oncology imaging, including PET, MRI, molecular imaging, diagnostic imaging agents, or imaging biomarkers is essential.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in product launch or early post-launch Medical Affairs activities.

• Preferred experience in supporting Investigator-Initiated Research (IITs), medical education grants, and evidence-generation initiatives.

• Comprehensive understanding of relevant policies governing radiopharmaceuticals is necessary.

• Demonstrated experience/expertise in interpreting scientific data, conducting market research, and gathering competitive intelligence.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

• A proven history of achieving results that meet or exceed established targets.

• Experience utilizing defined MSL performance metrics to illustrate field impact, including strategic account execution, insight generation, follow-up closure, scientific engagement outcomes, and clinical trial support.

• Proven ability to cultivate productive collaborations with medical stakeholders.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Strong ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and exhibit organizational and interpersonal skills, alongside business acumen and emotional intelligence.

• In-depth knowledge of regulations and practices related to industry interactions with healthcare professionals is required.

• Capability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• Ability to swiftly grasp complex disease areas, diagnostic methodologies, clinical development strategies, healthcare landscapes, patient journeys, and the role of imaging in gliomas and brain metastases.

• A valid driver's license is necessary.

• Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to 75% of the time.
