This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
β’ Build, nurture, and sustain relationships with key stakeholders within the designated geographic and therapeutic area.
β’ Act as a reliable source of clinical and scientific data, providing technical and practical education to clinicians, KOLs, professional societies, and payers.
β’ Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) through scientific discussions.
β’ Convey scientific, medical, technical, or product-specific information in peer-to-peer conversations.
β’ Facilitate healthcare provider education, training, and the safe application of drugs or biologics.
β’ Evaluate KOL alignment with essential scientific discussion topics to guide territory and medical strategy.
β’ Identify KOL Advocates and Collaborators.
β’ Assist with company-sponsored, investigator-initiated, and external collaborative research and publications.
β’ Share clinical and scientific information about FDA-approved products and those in the pipeline.
β’ Address MIRFs within established timeframes.
β’ Gather scientific and clinical insights to enhance Medical Affairs communications and coordinated activities.
β’ Participate in advisory boards.
β’ Contribute to scientific content and develop project-related materials.
β’ Engage in team calls, projects, and other activities.
β’ Collaborate with MSL colleagues and cross-functional internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Report directly to the MSL Field Director.
β’ Travel up to 60% in a field-based capacity.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree is required.
β’ An advanced scientific degree (MD, OD, PhD, PharmD) or a clinical degree (NP, PA) is preferred.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, another healthcare setting, or equivalent experience is preferred.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of medicine, treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, customer strategies, and FDA promotional guidelines, regulations, and ethical standards is preferred.
β’ Proven ability to establish and develop relationships with senior-level stakeholders.
β’ Capacity to effectively communicate scientific information through one-on-one meetings, small group interactions, and written formats.
β’ Must be a strong collaborator and work effectively within internal departments.
β’ Previous experience in Hepatology, Nephrology, or Transplantation is preferred.
β’ Demonstrated ability to access and foster relationships with external stakeholders.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
