This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +7 more states.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders through scientific discussions.
• Evaluate dynamics within therapeutic areas and address unmet needs.
• Engage in individual scientific dialogues with therapeutic area experts to uncover clinical insights.
• Support the recent product launch by providing ongoing nonpromotional scientific education.
• Keep up-to-date with relevant literature, publications, guidelines, and standards of care.
• Act as a scientific resource and reliable partner to academic physicians, researchers, academic centers, centers of excellence, and key accounts.
• Deliver complex medical and scientific information customized to stakeholder requirements.
• Serve as a research liaison for investigators developing investigator-initiated research protocols.
• Assist with medical congresses, advisory boards, scientific presentations, medical intelligence activities, scientific speaker training, and company-sponsored clinical trial sites.
• Conduct formal scientific presentations for appropriate healthcare audiences upon request.
• Represent Grifols Medical Affairs by communicating scientific priorities, research interests, drug development activities, and corporate mission.
• Comply with company policies and relevant regulatory and legal requirements while upholding high ethical standards.
• Must be located within the Northeast territory: New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine.
• Ideally live near a major airport.
• Advanced degree in a scientific discipline, such as a PharmD, MD, PhD, or an advanced or master’s nursing degree.
• At least two years of relevant experience in clinical practice, academia, or the pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth understanding of Grifols’ philosophy and policies.
• Exceptional interpersonal, strategic, and communication skills.
• Capability to comprehend, interpret, and convey complex scientific and medical information and data.
• Ability to confidently discuss highly technical information with leading academic experts.
• Proven computer literacy and capacity to learn MSL programs and processes.
• Competence to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to handle a demanding travel schedule and adjust to shifting priorities.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
• Must fulfill the Qualifying Driver Criteria of the Grifols Fleet Program, including a 5-year MVR review of major driving violations.
• Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and competencies may be accepted in lieu of the stated requirements.
• Frequent travel to site locations within the designated region by car or air, with occasional domestic travel outside the region.
