This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Contribute to the strategic business plan for the ecosystem and identify essential stakeholders.
• Provide clinical, scientific, and health economic insights related to CNS disease states and the appropriate use of approved Otsuka products.
• Engage with key influencers, local practice leaders, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups.
• Tailor regional business strategies to address local ecosystem requirements.
• Oversee multiple products within the CNS therapeutic area and facilitate clinical and scientific discussions.
• Offer clinical and scientific perspectives to local execution plans and coordinate field activities.
• Establish and nurture relationships with scientific and medical customers and organizations throughout the ecosystem.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the ecosystem and align activities with Otsuka's patient-centric approach.
• Provide evidence-based insights on the clinical, economic, and humanistic value of Otsuka and its products.
• Foster internal collaboration across the matrix team and implement local medical strategies.
• Share disease-state and healthcare landscape information with customers.
• Deliver clinical and data-oriented training for promotional and disease-state speakers.
• Support Otsuka's speaker bureau initiatives.
• Gather and submit medical insights to aid in decision-making and prioritize evidence generation.
• Assist with clinical trials, health economic outcomes research, and medical partnerships.
• Provide clinical expertise and feedback on the selection and performance of clinical trial sites.
• Mentor peers, newcomers, and contribute to functional and therapeutic development.
• Support Safety & Pharmacovigilance, Sales Training medical education, and the Field Medical Center of Excellence.
• MD/DO, PharmD, or PhD in life sciences, or a Master's degree with equivalent experience in psychiatry or CNS clinical practice.
• At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical medical affairs or a related field.
• Knowledge of the interconnectedness of health systems and the overall delivery of patient care.
• Experience collaborating with healthcare professionals and other decision-makers.
• Strong business acumen and familiarity with the industry, Otsuka's business model and value proposition, key competitors, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong skills in conflict resolution.
• Capacity to lead others and project teams strategically.
• Proficient in summarizing and conveying complex information and business objectives clearly and effectively.
• Deep understanding of the industry’s legal, regulatory, and compliance landscape.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment undergoing transformation.

• Willingness to travel for business by air or car up to 70% of the time.
