Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver scientific and/or clinical presentations on data that supports Natera’s oncology offerings in hematological cancers.

• Act as a medical and scientific resource for Natera's US and International Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Bio Pharma teams.

• Build, sustain, and oversee relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in hematological cancer, healthcare providers, and customers.

• Collaborate with laboratory operations to supply additional healthcare provider information regarding Natera's products.

• Represent Natera at scientific and clinical congress meetings.

• Engage in ongoing learning to retain scientific and clinical expertise.

• Provide medical expertise for materials, communication tools, and publications to ensure accuracy in medical content.

• Assist and coordinate ongoing clinical trial and research initiatives at academic institutions and study sites.

• Travel extensively, exceeding 60%, as required.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Work remotely with frequent sitting, standing, and walking; daily computer usage is necessary.

• Duties may necessitate working outside of standard hours, including evenings and weekends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Healthcare professionals with pertinent scientific knowledge and/or clinical training in hematologic oncology will be considered.

• A Master’s degree is required.

• An advanced healthcare/scientific degree is preferred (Ph.D., Pharm.D, M.D., D.N.P.).

• MSL experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Must reside within the assigned/advertised territory.

• Proven experience in establishing strong, collaborative working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers.

• Ability to work independently and remotely while upholding a strong teamwork ethic.

• Strong problem-solving skills and capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

• Strategic thinking abilities.

• Flexibility and the capacity to adapt to changes and unexpected tasks, issues, or shifts in strategy or departmental needs.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in reading, interpreting, and conveying complex scientific information.

• Must be willing to travel extensively, over 60%.

• Ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate via telephone, and read printed materials.

• Must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of employment.

• Must maintain current status on Natera training requirements.
