Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, cultivate, and sustain professional relationships with KOLs, clinical investigators, and key stakeholders within the realms of academic and clinical psychiatry.

• Act as a scientific resource in the field, providing precise, balanced, and compliant scientific information.

• Facilitate scientific education at national and regional psychiatry conferences, advisory boards, and educational gatherings.

• Collect and relay field insights to internal stakeholders to guide strategy and decision-making processes.

• Aid in the maintenance of best practices for capturing field insights, documentation, and KOL engagement.

• Address unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals in accordance with company policies.

• Monitor and report on the competitive landscape and emerging clinical data.

• Assist clinical teams with identifying trial sites and initiatives for enrollment.

• Support investigator-initiated trials and Phase IV activities.

• Collaborate with Government Affairs and HEOR on policy discussions and stakeholder briefings.

• Represent the company at regional mental health or policy-related events.

• Ensure that all interactions adhere to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and compliance requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DNP, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.

• 0 - 4 years of experience as an MSL or in related medical affairs; experience in psychiatry/CNS is preferred.

• A solid understanding of psychiatric disease states and treatment paradigms.

• Proven ability to engage in scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals.

• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to interpret and clearly present complex scientific data.

• Familiarity with CRM systems, insight tools, and compliant field operations.

• Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced biotech environment with cross-functional collaboration.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% as needed.
