This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Facilitate balanced and objective discussions with healthcare professionals regarding new and emerging data, highlighting both benefits and risks that influence treatment decisions.
• Engage experts as scientific consultants for advisory boards, speaker programs, and clinical trials that align with strategic objectives.
• Identify and nurture relationships with healthcare professionals who showcase scientific excellence for innovative basic and preclinical research.
• Provide regional insights into clinical practice patterns, key issues, and trends to guide medical plans and evidence generation.
• Serve as a regional field-based subject matter expert in the lifecycle management of products within assigned therapeutic areas.
• Utilize scientific exchanges to discover research opportunities with healthcare professionals and link them to the Medical Advisor via the Externally Sponsored Research process.
• Equip priority clinical sites with essential molecule and disease expertise during or prior to site initiation.
• Collaborate with clinical operations to ensure timely site activation and effective patient recruitment.
• Proven ability to effectively synthesize and communicate scientific information at a peer level with physicians.
• Prior experience as a healthcare professional (PharmD, MD) or scientific expertise such as a PhD or MSc.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a role that engages with physicians.
• Strong capacity for learning and understanding scientific concepts and knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• In-depth knowledge of the healthcare environment concerning Opinion Leaders, Academia, and the Medical Community.
• Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally.
• Experience in Oncology, particularly gastrointestinal cancers, is preferred.
