This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Establish and nurture relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals at university hospitals and core hospitals.
• Plan and execute nationwide field events.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to enhance the quality and execution of event strategies by region.
• Support the introduction of products in the diabetes field, provide in-hospital education, and promote continued use to expand relationships and sales.
• Share quarterly activity reports with healthcare facilities and sales teams in each region, addressing challenges and optimizing sales strategies.
• Coordinate overall operations by collaborating with internal departments such as distribution policy, marketing, quality, safety, and logistics.
• Provide product education and training to healthcare professionals.
• Represent the company and its products at diabetes-related events, exhibitions, and professional forums.
• Assist the internal team in supporting growth and aligning messaging and strategies for the assigned area.
• Frequently travel domestically within the assigned territory (typically spending 60–90% of working hours in the field).
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong sales background.
• Familiarity with the hospital system in Japan.
• Proven track record in acquiring new accounts and building relationships with healthcare professionals at university and core hospitals.
• Ability to educate and persuade healthcare professionals to enhance product awareness and prescribing behavior.
• Capable of providing compelling product education and training to healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of the Japanese healthcare system.
• Native-level proficiency in Japanese.
• English proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to understand company goals and vision and solve complex challenges with expertise.
• Understanding of the company's business and market environment, reflecting this in decision-making.
• Skills in resource utilization and schedule management.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze from multiple perspectives and derive solutions.
• A balance of caution and flexibility.
• Willingness to frequently travel domestically within the assigned region.
