This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Generate and cultivate recruiting leads through various channels including advertisements, cold calling, referrals, internet sources, residency programs, and conventions.
• Reach out to and follow up with prospective Emergency Medicine physicians and Advanced Provider candidates.
• Record recruiting activities in the database and create comprehensive recruiting strategies for open positions.
• Conduct initial phone screenings and provide qualified candidates with information about the position and Vituity.
• Assess candidates for both position suitability and organizational compatibility.
• Coordinate phone and on-site interviews with candidates and Medical Directors.
• Follow up with candidates regarding their interviews.
• Discuss the hiring process with new hires during the contracting phase.
• Perform verbal reference checks and facilitate written reference checks.
• Maintain candidate records in Taleo and utilize the system for generating reports, conducting searches, and creating listings.
• Foster relationships with Medical Directors, Regional Directors, Vice Presidents, Lead Advanced Providers, and Regional Advanced Providers.
• Conduct follow-up calls at 30, 60, and 90 days with new hires to promote retention.
• Keep practice profiles updated with current site information, credential requirements, and compensation details.
• Recruit for tier 2 incentive sites.
• Maintain ongoing communication with new hires throughout and after their onboarding period.
• Consult with sites on recruiting and interviewing strategies.
• Provide full-cycle recruiting for Emergency Medicine.
• Participate in meetings related to Physician and Advanced Provider matters.
• Build relationships with residency programs and attend residency dinners when necessary.
• Prepare for and participate in conferences.
• Develop recruiting initiatives that align with the Balanced Score Card.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Practice Management, Partnership Affairs, HR, and other departments to exchange market intelligence and best practices in recruiting.
• Prepare and process offer letters and hiring documents for PAs and NPs.
• Communicate updates related to credentialing and provider enrollment.
• Review and track application status while maintaining regular communication with applicants.
• Stay informed about practice site and Vituity policies and procedures, and communicate relevant information effectively.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of recent recruiting experience is required.
• Prior experience in a recruitment agency setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience working both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced, professional, service-oriented setting is preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills, including team-building and negotiation abilities, are preferred.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills are preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to perform well under pressure are preferred.
• Capability to manage conflict constructively and exercise sound judgment is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite for Windows, internet usage, and other sourcing techniques is necessary.
• Experience with database management is essential.
• Familiarity with Taleo is preferred.
