This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Implement business development strategies that align with organizational goals
• Discover opportunities for partnerships, services, and markets by leveraging insights from customers, competitors, and the industry
• Create business cases and execution plans for new products, services, and operational models
• Cultivate strong relationships and influence both internal teams and external partners, suppliers, and industry stakeholders
• Set up governance structures and performance metrics to monitor delivery, risks, and outcomes
• Conduct commercial analyses and provide recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Assist with partner agreements and manage projects across various workstreams
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance the medical network, improve member outcomes, and boost commercial, operational, and service performance
• Identify new opportunities, evaluate market and stakeholder needs, support program development, and establish delivery and governance frameworks for the primary health network group
• Proven experience in business development, partnership management, project delivery, or strategic program execution
• A background in international business within the Health Insurance, Health Funds, or Insurance sectors is highly desirable
• Experience in a complex, service-oriented, regulated, or customer-centric environment
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, including business case development, data interpretation, and evaluation of financial or operational consequences
• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, influence, and relationship management
• Sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including experience in preparing recommendations, reports, and executive-level updates
• A relevant tertiary qualification in business, health, commerce, management, project management, or a related field is desirable
• Experience in regulated industries, supplier or partner management, service design, governance, continuous improvement, or initiatives aimed at enhancing customer and member experience will be highly valued
