This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Manage incoming and outgoing calls, initiate callbacks for missed inquiries, and consistently follow up to re-engage inactive or no-show patients.
• Thoroughly document every interaction with patients.
• Establish rapport, address patient concerns, clarify insurance inquiries, and assist prospective patients in securing confirmed appointments.
• Confirm deductibles, HMO/PPO structures, copays, coinsurance, out-of-pocket maximums, network status, and prior authorization/referral requirements across various commercial payers, including Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Medicare, and Workers' Comp/PIP.
• Oversee physician calendars, confirm and reschedule appointments, and ensure precise scheduling queues in eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Support professional outreach to physician offices, legal representatives, and medical-legal contact networks to enhance patient volume growth.
• Must possess a Registered Nurse (RN) license, Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification, or an equivalent professional nursing degree/license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a U.S.-based practice, including responsibilities related to patient scheduling, EMR documentation, phone workflows, and remote physician collaboration.
• Recent and ongoing hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Comprehensive understanding of U.S. health insurance verification, benefits breakdown, and payer guidelines.
• Proficient in English with a clear, friendly, and highly professional phone demeanor.
• Available for a full-time contractor schedule of 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm EST.
