This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +7 more countries.
• Deliver medical communications services to healthcare providers, patients, and industry clients.
• Translate documents between English and the target language, providing translated responses via phone or written communication.
• Manage and respond to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers/patients.
• Communicate drug information through verbal and written correspondence.
• Identify adverse events and product complaints during interactions with customers.
• Conduct intake procedures to generate initial reports on adverse events and product complaints in line with company and client SOPs.
• Meet the requirements of local regulatory authorities for post-marketing adverse event reporting.
• Determine necessary safety information and the appropriate level of detail for information gathering.
• Draft narratives for adverse events and product complaints, as well as custom responses to medical inquiries.
• Collaborate on quality-related complaint processes with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and complainants.
• Analyze medical literature and create written drug information for healthcare professionals.
• Assist with market and competitive product research, system development, sales training, and field liaison initiatives.
• Engage in medical writing and fulfill assigned on-call duties.
• Enhance and maintain customer service and process metrics within the Medical Communications Call Centre.
• Degree in Life Sciences or healthcare, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong clinical knowledge.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English at C1 level is essential.
• Strong skills in translation.
• Preferred qualifications include Pharma D / M Pharma, MSc in Life Sciences or healthcare, or related degrees such as BSc/MSc in Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Anatomy & Physiology, Health Science, or Human Science.
• Preferred experience in call centers, medical information, the pharmaceutical industry, clinical settings, and medical writing.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows applications.
• Experience with Medical Information Management Systems, Safety Databases, or similar tools.
• Legally authorized to work in the European Union or the UK.
• Availability to work European hours from 8 am to 6 pm CET, Monday through Friday.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
• Capability to manage assigned on-call responsibilities.
• Demonstrated professional integrity, credibility, character, and ethical conduct.
