Medical Information Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Assist the Medical Information team in addressing initial inquiries regarding adverse events and medical information.

• Deliver approved responses to medical queries from healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmaceutical clients, including call management.

• Recognize, document, and report adverse events/side effects, pregnancies, and other special circumstance events, as well as product quality complaints within specified timelines.

• Accurately and comprehensively track and document medical information inquiries in the Medical Information database.

• Engage in out-of-hours medical information support for clients with 24/7 inquiry handling contracts.

• Provide management with regular updates on project progress and inquiry metrics.

• Aid in departmental regulatory inspection readiness concerning the pharmacovigilance system.

• Actively participate in pharmacovigilance inspections or audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in life sciences or biomedical fields.

• Degree in healthcare-related fields such as chemistry, biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, or nursing.

• Proficiency in English.

• Additional language proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, or Korean is preferred.

• 0–3 years of professional experience in medical information or pharmacovigilance.

• Experience in customer service or call center roles is preferred.

• Comfortable handling inquiries via phone.

• Availability to provide out-of-hours service if necessary.

• Skills in time and issue management, delegation, organization, and multitasking.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Proficient in reading and writing in English.
