Medical Imaging Physicist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Provide medical physics services to ensure the safe and effective application of radiation in diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy.

• Assist in quality assurance testing, equipment performance assessments, and acceptance testing for medical imaging and treatment systems.

• Engage in radiation safety programs and ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.

• Gather, analyze, and document technical information that supports clinical operations, enhances equipment efficacy, and promotes patient safety initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with physicians, dosimetrists, technologists, and healthcare personnel to troubleshoot equipment and refine clinical workflows.

• Maintain comprehensive records, reports, and technical documentation while aiding in audits, inspections, and accreditation processes.

• Participate in special projects, research endeavors, and the adoption of new technologies and clinical practices.
