Medical Doctor, Client Medical Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Engage with personal injury clients via phone or video to discuss their injuries and medical treatment options.

• Clarify the importance of MRIs, diagnostic imaging, and follow-up care.

• Assist clients in understanding the connection between their injuries, treatment, and recovery in relation to their case.

• Reinforce the guidance provided by attorneys and paralegals in a medically credible and easily comprehensible manner.

• Propose alternative treatment options when clients express hesitation about a doctor's recommendations.

• Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and the firm's in-house nurse on complex cases.

• Accurately document client interactions and outcomes in the firm's case management system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited medical institution.

• Exceptional spoken and written English skills, with confidence in engaging with clients.

• Ability to articulate medical concepts in a simple, clear, and reassuring manner.

• Comfort in educating and guiding clients persuasively yet professionally.

• Strong skills in rapport-building, empathy, and active listening.

• Interest in working within a legal or personal injury context, beyond purely clinical care.

• Availability to work full-time during U.S. business hours.

• Located in Mexico.

• Reliable home office setup with a stable internet connection.

• Nice to have: experience in emergency medicine, orthopedics, physical medicine, or radiology.

• Nice to have: familiarity with personal injury, workers' compensation, or medico-legal cases.

• Nice to have: a degree from a medical school recognized for U.S. licensing (ECFMG / USMLE).

• Nice to have: experience in telemedicine or patient education roles.

• Nice to have: fluency in Spanish.
