Medical Doctor – Client Medical Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jamaica.

📋 Description

• Engage with personal injury clients via phone or video to discuss their injuries and available medical treatment options.

• Clearly articulate the significance of MRIs, diagnostic imaging, and follow-up care.

• Assist clients in understanding the relationship between their injuries, treatment, and recovery in the context of their case.

• Support attorney and paralegal advice in a medically credible and easily digestible manner.

• Offer alternative treatment suggestions when clients express hesitance regarding a doctor's recommendations.

• Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and the firm's in-house nurse on intricate cases.

• Accurately document client interactions and outcomes in the firm's case management system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited medical institution.

• Outstanding verbal and written English skills, with confidence in client-facing discussions.

• Capability to convey medical concepts in a simple, clear, and reassuring manner.

• Comfortable in educating and guiding clients in a persuasive yet professional manner.

• Strong skills in rapport-building, empathy, and active listening.

• Interest in engaging within a legal or personal injury setting, beyond just clinical care.

• Availability for full-time work during U.S. business hours.

• Residing in Jamaica, equipped with a reliable home office and stable internet connection.

• Experience in emergency medicine, orthopedics, physical medicine, or radiology.

• Knowledge of personal injury, workers' compensation, or medico-legal cases.

• Degree from a medical school recognized for U.S. licensing (ECFMG / USMLE).

• Background in telemedicine or patient education roles.
