Medical Doctor – Client Medical Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Engage with personal injury clients via phone or video to discuss their injuries and medical treatment options.

• Clearly articulate the importance of MRIs, diagnostic imaging, and follow-up care.

• Assist clients in understanding the connection between their injuries, treatment, and recovery in relation to their case.

• Reinforce the guidance provided by attorneys and paralegals in a medically credible and easily comprehensible manner.

• Recommend alternative treatment options when clients express reservations about a doctor's advice.

• Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and the firm's in-house nurse on intricate cases.

• Accurately document client interactions and outcomes in the firm's case management system.

⛳️ Requirements

• A medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited medical institution.

• Exceptional spoken and written English skills, with confidence in client-facing discussions.

• Ability to convey medical concepts in a straightforward, clear, and reassuring manner.

• Comfort in educating and guiding clients in a persuasive yet professional manner.

• Strong skills in rapport-building, empathy, and active listening.

• Interest in working within a legal or personal injury context, beyond just clinical care.

• Availability for full-time work during U.S. business hours.

• Residing in the Dominican Republic, equipped with a reliable home office setup and stable internet connection.

• Experience in emergency medicine, orthopedics, physical medicine, or radiology.

• Familiarity with personal injury, workers' compensation, or medico-legal cases.

• Degree from a medical school recognized for U.S. licensing (ECFMG / USMLE).

• Background in telemedicine or patient education roles.

• Proficiency in Spanish.
