
Medical Customer Service Representative β Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Manage inbound and/or outbound communications related to patient healthcare billing inquiries.
β’ Collect outstanding balances while ensuring exceptional customer service and confidentiality.
β’ Engage with patients regarding their medical bills and account details.
β’ Address inquiries concerning benefits, billing processes, claims, payments, and related matters.
β’ Examine and interpret insurance Explanations of Benefits to ascertain patient liabilities, adjustments, and write-offs.
β’ Clarify charges and relay requirements, policies, procedures, and financial assistance resources.
β’ Collaborate within a virtual Patient Contact Center in a team-oriented setting.
β’ Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
β’ Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite Tools.
β’ Proficient problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through.
β’ Capability to handle multiple tasks and navigate various systems simultaneously.
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.
β’ At least 1 year of experience in a patient contact center (call center) setting.
β’ Preferred knowledge of medical billing and/or revenue cycle management in a healthcare-related environment.
β’ Availability to work Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM CST.
