This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee payroll documentation, manage workpapers, audit files, and electronic records across shared platforms.
• Develop payroll templates, reporting tools, processing trackers, and ongoing support materials throughout the payroll cycle.
• Execute payroll-related data entry and verify employee payroll information for thoroughness and precision.
• Detect discrepancies related to employee records, timekeeping, leave administration, and payroll coding, escalating issues as necessary.
• Carry out routine timecard and payroll audits, document exceptions, and prepare supporting analyses.
• Assemble audit logs, exception reports, and payroll validation documentation.
• Produce recurring payroll reports, data extracts, and reporting packages for stakeholders and internal team members.
• Maintain payroll dashboards, trackers, and reporting resources.
• Supervise payroll support channels and direct employee inquiries to the appropriate resources.
• Aid in ticket management, service request tracking, and resolution of payroll issues.
• Deliver precise administrative and operational support throughout the payroll cycle.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate's degree or coursework in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in payroll, administrative support, customer service, accounting, human resources, or a related function.
• Experience with data entry, reporting tools, or business systems is preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or payroll support experience is an advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy and quality.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to recurring deadlines.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential employee information appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
